Our highly trained board-certified dermatologist will design a treatment plan specifically designed for your needs and individual goals.
HOW MUCH DYSPORT® WILL I NEED?
The first step in determining how much Dysport that will be needed for your treatment is to have a consultation by our Board-certified dermatologist. Every patient have specific needs and concerns. Your Dysport treatment will need to be tailored to your specific needs. The amount of Dysport used depends on a few main factors: the areas of treatment, the size and strength of the facial muscles. It is advised not to compare Dysport treatments with other botulinum toxin treatments in the past. The dose of Dysport is not the same as the dose of any other botulinum toxin product and cannot be compared to the dose of any other product you may have used previously.
WHO SHOULD NOT USE DYSPORT®?
You should avoid Dysport if you are allergic to Dysport or any of the ingredients in Dysport. Additionally, you should avoid using this medication if you are allergic to cow’s milk protein. Lastly, you should not receive Dysport or any neurotoxin if you have experienced an allergic reaction to any other botulinum toxin product, such as Myobloc (rimabotulinumtoxinB), Botox®(onabotulinumtoxinA) or Xeomin® (incobotulinumtoxinA).
Dysport or any neurotoxin is not recommended if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant. The effects of Dysport® on an unborn baby are unknown.
The use of botulinum toxin is contraindicated or not allowed in patients that have conditions that affect muscles and nerves such as Lambert-Eaton syndrome, myasthenia gravis or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. Please discuss all medical history prior to treatment with a botulinum toxin product.
